There are some villagers who are against it while majority of the other villagers prefer not to get involved in the issues. The reluctance to get involved shows how meek the villagers are and it also shows that they believe that nix can be done to help them in their situation and would rather suffer in silence. They may also fear for even their lives as the developers are rather powerful people who could do anything they propensityed.The movie shows the plight of the poor against the rich in that the rich most of the time can do anything that they wish with minimal consequences. While there are people who are willing to fight for their rights, most people j ust believe that they should let things be as they are even if they are suffering.
